Mary Powell was born in Bermuda in 1927 and is a 4th generation Bermudian. Educated in Bermuda, the United States, and Canada art was a focal point of her education. She was a watercolor artist and her works have attracted many to visit this special British Overseas Territory. Bermuda is a 21 square mile island located on the North Atlantic due east of North Carolina in the U.S. It has about 65,000 residents and about 500,000 visitors, mostly from cruise ships.
