Cane Worker – “Cane Whispers” by Janis Casco Blayer

$200.00

Janis Casco Blayer’s artworks honoring Maui sugar cane workers are collectibles.  The Sugar Cane Industry began in the Hawaiian Islands from the early 1800’s with the final sugar mill closing in Puunene, Maui in 2016. Visitors to Maui could see the sugar cane workers tirelessly harvesting the cane to ready it for sugar production. This artwork was created in the early 1900’s. Truly a treasured collectible.
