Measuring 10” x 12”, this 208-page full color hardcover book contains 251 images of original paintings created by 87 professional plein air artists. Plein air artists paint outside, not in their studios, to create works that document ‘a point in time’. Since 2006, the Maui Arts League has invited plein air artists from around the world to participate in the annual Maui Plein Air Painting Invitational, the largest event of its kind in Hawaii.
