Remembering Lahaina includes 251 artworks by 87 professional artists from Hawaii, the U.S. Mainland and Australia.  The images of plein air paintings from 2006-2020 Maui Plein Air Painting Invitationals and the 2023 Paint Maui Plein Air Invitational have captured the soul of Lahaina. Thirteen Remembering Lahiana book sponsors covered the expense of book development, production, and printing of the first release.
